It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, every where you go….
I love the classic Christmas songs that I grew up with. Am I showing my age when I say that I’m not a big fan of today’s holiday music. Nothing beats Perry Como singing “Home for the Holidays” or Brenda Lee’s “Rockin around the Christmas Tree” and The Ray Conniff Singers caroling “Silver Bells”. However I do love Michael Buble.
Below are some photos I took around the house of the Christmas decorations. In our family room, is the bookcase. I simply added some mercury voltive holders. I’m hooked, addicted, in love with those fake tealights with timers. In fact almost all my candles have been swapped out for the faux candles on timers. At 5:00 pm, all my candles come on. Woo hoo for technology baby!
I added my manager which I got from Costco. Love this thing. I think I’ve add it for 15 years or so now. Hoping one of the kids will want to inherit it soon.
My dining room table vignette. The deer are from Pottery barn, as well as the silver bowl. I just added some dove candles and tulle. The buffet was spruced up just by adding some glass balls and faux snow to my glass jar.
For the staircase, I added faux lit garland, some silver tulle and a couple silver balls.
Tomorrow, the Christmas tree. My husband actually helped this year. I teased him that I think the last time he helped with the tree was when we were first married.
Well, in the mean time, I’m going to hook the iPhone up to my Bose speaker and listen to my Christmas music well I continue to tweak my decorations. Merry Christmas!
