First off, Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to all!
I have to admit that I do very few true DIY projects around my home. Between a fulltime job with a 3 hr daily commute, taking care of my grandson and just keeping up with the house doesn’t leave much time for projects. Usually, I’m busily flipping thru my catalogs or surfing the web, hoping to find the perfect object. However, once in a while, I know there is a certain ‘look’ I want and may need to create it to get it.
One such need was trying to figure out how to utilize some prints that I bought. My inspiration for buying those prints from AllPosters was this wood plaque that I had purchased from Michael Chiacello’s Napa store.
So my original idea was just to buy 12×12 inch frames and hang the 4 prints in a square format on my wall in the kitchen nook area. Well, I couldn’t find 4 of the same frames or even of similiar style and since I have little patience, I started looking around Richard’s store for other options. I spied the 14×14 inch canvas frames and started thinking. I had chalkboard paint and some burlap ribbon at home. So I picked up the canvas prints and spray adhesive. Painted the canvas out with the chalkboard paint, allowed to dry then attached the prints just by spraying the back with the adhesive. Then added the ribbon.
And this is the final display.
