Okay, like a lot of you, I’m totally in love with Pottery Barn, William Sonoma, Restoration Hardware, and Z Gallerie. If my budget would allow, I’d quit my job in a heartbeat and work at PB. It would certainly help my decorating budget if I could get that employee discount!
Recently I’ve been obsessing about PB’s antique-silver objects. Slowly, slowly, slowly I’ve been purchasing their pieces. I love the antique finish along with the script.
Now that I’ve got a few (okay, most of it!) pieces, I’m thinking on the best way to display key pieces. I like the pitchers as they can be hung or used as floral display pieces. I’ve been eying a table from PB that could be used as a bar cart and that could help me create a little vignette. I have been looking at putting up some type of shelving in my Dining room, but not quite sure how that one will play out.
The next purchase is definately getting the flatware. Don’t know about a lot of you, but it can get pricey if you have a large family and need at minimum 16 place settings. However, I might just keep it down to 8 place settings and then add to it with some complementary settings that aren’t as pricey.
Have you ever fallen in love with a collection?
